continues its policy of quality and flexibility through to its recently
expanded and improved line of three phase TEFC brake motors.
The AMF series
offers high braking torque generated via a 3 phase AC brake for
heavy duty applications.
The AMS series
offers reduced braking torque for smoother operation and is primarily
used as a holding brake.

Both the AMF
and AMS series are held in stock
up to the 112 frame with factory deliveries at 6 – 8 weeks.
The powers range from 0.11Kw – 11Kw, 2, 4, 6 &
8 pole, featuring a manual hand release as standard on
the AMF series and an option on the AMS series.
The new AMB series
has been developed to offer greater flexibility, with interchangeable
AC and High torque DC brakes, the ability to upgrade the enclosure
to IP55, and options of fitting a manual hand release, encoder and
forced ventilation, all as a stock modification.
The AMB series
expands AEG’s brake motor output range to 63 –
315 frame, 0.12Kw – 200Kw, 2,4,6 & 8 pole.
The AMBY High
torque DC brake motor is held in stock from 63 - 132 frame 0.18Kw
– 7.5Kw 2, 4 6 & 8 pole.
