Acquired by Cemp International in 2000, Atav has been incorporated into Cemp-France and continues to manufacture their range of small lightweight aluminium flameproof EEx-d motors. Over the last 28 years Atav has built a reputation for offering unique motor for special applications, thus complementing and further extending Cemp International's existing range.

Specialising in EEx-d/EEx-de motors, Atex certified Category 2G / 2D / 2GD, Gas groups IIA/IIB/IIC,
Temperature class T3 – T6, from 56 – 80 frame, their range encompasses ;

Special Application motors : Motors for fan use : Atav offers a range of low noise, compact motors designed for fan use. In a TENV Enclosure they have rear mounted terminal connections suitable for mounting in a airstream. Available in foot / PAD Mounted
