Cemp International S.p.A have the most comprehensive range of flameproof motors available offering more options / special modifications than any other manufacturer. Cemp International are particularly equipped to design and manufacture custom built flameproof motors built specifically to customers requirements.

These products are used in the demanding and potentially explosive environments created in the chemical or mining industry, or any area where the presence of hazardous dusts or gases need to be addressed.

The new range of motors now covers frame 63 – 315 with a power range of 0.09Kw – 132Kw, 2, 4, 6 & 8 pole and is compliant with the latest 94/9/EC ATEX Directive implemented in July 2003 covering all electrical apparatus installed in a hazardous area within the EU.

  • Zone 1 (Gas) & Zone 21 (Dust)
  • Gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC
  • Temperature class T3, T4, T5, T6
  • EEx-d Group 1 motors for Mine application

At our Weston-super-Mare warehouse we currently stock Atex category II 2G Zone 1 motors from 63 - 250 frame, 0.18Kw – 55Kw, with factory made motors on a 3 – 4 week delivery for standard motors, and 6 weeks for specials.
All motors are ATEX certified by CESI of Italy and the quality and customer service offered is further improved by a worldwide service organisation.
