Disc type mechanical variators offering a speed range of 5:1 which can be further enhanced by the fitting of a differential to give an infinitely variable speed range with better than constant torque. Powers up to 9.2Kw are available in 7 sizes. Speed control can also be effected by standard handwheel, pneumatic or electro servo control.
