The new SW Range from Spaggiari offers a unique concept in worm gearbox design combining versatility with quality to produce a modular unit with accessories that can be built up from stock.

Designed to be fully interchangeable with Europe's other leading gearbox manufacturers, they have been produced as a basic modular unit with additional features e.g. feet/output flanges etc. which are easily detachable and can be re-positioned for different mounting configurations offering greater flexibility.

Because all accessories are external the integrity of the units is not affected, thus preventing possible leakage.

With all optional extras held in stock including single and double output shafts, torque arms and shaft covers the units can be built quickly to suit customer requirements.

The SW Range encompasses nine sizes of gearbox with powers from 0.06Kw - 15Kw, ratios of between 5:1 - 100:1, with a helical input available offering greater reductions.

The range is further enhanced by fitting together two single worm units by means of an adaptor to give a further series of ratios up to 5000:1.

Built to a high quality using a hardened and tempered worm shaft with a bronze wheel they obtain excellent mechanical strength while remaining small and lightweight.

The units are finished with a blue epoxy polyester powder.

To comply with latest regulations Spaggiari are now offering their worm gearbox range certified to the 94/9/EC ATEX Directive, category II 2GD Zone 1 / Zone 21, (Gas & Dust)
